Gro Mambo Yasezy brings her unique perspective on how to live a fulfilling and happier life. Gro Mambo Yasezy, formerly known as Mambo Rinmin, trained for over 17 years, and has been a practitioner for well over two decades. She is versed in the ancient tradition of ethno-botany, and the sacred works of healing through the Loa.
Over two decades ago, Gro Mambo Yasezy was invited to a Voodoo ceremony at Gro Mambo Angélá Noványón Idizol’s sanctuary in North Philadelphia. During the service, she met the Loa Papa Ogu in possession. The Loa gave Gro Mambo Yasezy a very personal message containing very private information. The Loa then proceeded to give her guidance to resolve the problem. Although the religion was very foreign, she felt at home and realized that this religion would nurture her, teaching her the path that she was destined to follow.
Gro Mambo Yasezy became initiated as Mambo Rinmin La Via Bel (Priestess) on September 18, 1994. She trained under Gro Mambo Angélá Noványón Idizol, studying Divination, Ethnobotany, Counseling and Conduct of Religious Ceremonies and Rituals. She was initiated as a Gro Mambo (High Priestess) on August 12, 2011, in Mariani, Haiti, at LePeristyle Haitian Sanctuary. Gro Mambo Yasezy traveled to Haiti to study Ethnobotany. She has studied the symbols and works of the Loa, incorporating the healing practices in her work for her clients.
Gro Mambo Yasezy is also a member of the Ogatzulis Au’d Fanm Societi, an ancient secret women’s society. She has served on the Board of Directors at LePeristyle Haitian Sanctuary, and has served as the Associate Treasurer and Board Member for the National African Religion Congress/NARC World, a certifying board for African based religions.
